SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Sonasoft Corp., provider of SonaSafe Integrated Backup/Recovery & Replication software today announced that it has been selected by Intel Corporation to become a member of the Intel Enabled Server Acceleration Alliance (ESAA). As part of the Intel ESAA program, Sonasoft will certify its award winning software on Intel-based server platforms. Sonasoft will work with Intel to provide pre-certified SonaSafe solution recipes to Intel OEM channel partners around the globe that are members of ESAA.

Intel ESAA is a collaborative alliance that streamlines technical certification and validation of reliable, high-quality, server solutions to end user customers. Intel ESAA allows its member OEM partners to quickly deliver pre-configured, trusted solutions to their customers. OEM partners are assured that Intel ESAA solutions consist of equipment and software from Intel trusted technology partners, and end user customers are assured the solution is supported.

“We are extremely delighted to be part of Intel ESAA program and this will benefit everyone in the network -- Intel channel partners members, distributors and OEMs. A Backup and Disaster Recovery appliance built on an Intel-based server will open up tremendous opportunity for channel partners and will offer an affordable, plug & play solution for the end-user,” said Andy Khanna, President & CEO of Sonasoft.

“Sonasoft is a valuable addition to the Intel ESAA program and fills a great need in the market place for backup/recovery and disaster recovery,” said David Brown, Intel Enterprise Platforms and Services Division Marketing Director.
