QLogic Provides SANblade HBAs

QLogic has joined the Oracle PartnerNetwork and the Oracle Unbreakable Linux Program

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- QLogic Corp. (NASDAQ:QLGC), the leader in Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs), stackable switches and blade server switches, today announced that it has joined the Oracle PartnerNetwork and the Oracle Unbreakable Linux Program, and offers full interoperability of QLogic® SANblade® Fibre Channel HBAs with Oracle Enterprise Linux. This milestone makes it easy for Global 2000 data centers to integrate market-leading SANblade HBAs with a wide range of products from other leading storage area network (SAN) solution providers.

QLogic SANblade Fibre Channel HBAs are already part of Oracle Validated Configurations, pre-tested, validated architectures with software, hardware, storage, and networking components with included documented best practices for deployment. Oracle and its strategic partners offer and recommend these configurations to enable end-users to deploy tested solutions to achieve standardization with high performance, scalability, and reliability while lowering infrastructure costs.
