LAS VEGAS -- Pivot3 Inc, the inventor of high-definition storage based on distributed RAID, today announced a reseller agreement with Petards Inc., a leading developer of advanced surveillance systems. Under this agreement, Petards will resell Pivot3 high-definition storage as part of its video recording and management system. This agreement follows successful joint installations of Petards solutions with Pivot3 iSCSI SANs, including the recently announced deployment at The 101 Casino, where Pivot3 high-definition storage was installed to support the storage requirements of megapixel cameras.

As an expert in video surveillance systems, we are seeing more and more large-scale storage requirements as users add cameras, deploy megapixel cameras, increase frame rates and retain video for longer times,” said Frank Baitman, president of Petards Inc. “Pivot3’s high-definition storage changes the game for Petards and our customers by introducing a central storage option that complements our existing product line. With this agreement, we can assure our joint customers smooth installation, streamlined field support and long-term investment protection.”

“We welcome Petards to our network of partners,” said Lee Caswell, co-founder of Pivot3. “We see a tremendous potential for Pivot3’s high-definition storage solutions in today’s multi-vendor video surveillance environments, and are looking forward to working closely with Petards to help its customers store and protect their data while supporting their future growth.”
