HOUSTON -- Pivot3 Inc, the inventor of High-Definition Storage, will exhibit the Pivot3 High-Definition Storage™ solution at ISC West 2008, Booth #5052, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nev., April 2-4, 2008. Attendees visiting the Pivot3 booth will be able to see demonstrations of the latest High-Definition Storage, supporting a variety of cameras and video surveillance applications, and reducing storage infrastructure costs by as much as 50 percent.

Optimized for large-scale surveillance deployments and implemented by various municipalities and casinos throughout the country, the Pivot3 High-Definition Storage System increases data security and helps organizations store twice the video while supporting up to sixteen times the data streams of traditional modular storage systems. The Pivot3 IP-based system adds a higher level of data protection across multiple networked storage nodes, called Databanks, which are built using industry-standard x86 servers and disk drives, and are connected via common Gigabit Ethernet. Databanks are added to cost-effectively scale recording capacity and camera support.

The company has recently announced the Pivot3 High-Definition Storage™ Alliance program, with more than 30 industry-leading vendors becoming members of the program. The alliance program is designed to help users simplify the deployment and speed the adoption of open video surveillance systems, using high-capacity, high-bandwidth Pivot3 High-Definition Storage.
