AUSTIN, Texas -- NetEffect, Inc., the leader in multi-Gb accelerated Ethernet connectivity solutions, today announced it has received the official OFA Interoperability Logo from the OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA), based on the results of the March interoperability event at the University of New Hampshires InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL). For 10GbE buyers, the OFA Interoperability Logo ensures that NetEffect products have been tested and are interoperable with other network hardware carrying the OFA Interoperability Logo when running the OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFED) 1.3 software stack.

The OFA Interoperability Logo builds on NetEffect’s recent announcement of native support for NetEffect drivers in OFED 1.3. The Interoperability Event test results (including performance) were just published by OFA and the UNH-IOL and are available at http://www.iol.unh.edu/services/testing/ofa/interoplist/mar08/mar08.php.

"We applaud NetEffect's continued participation in our Interoperability Events and congratulate them on the technical accomplishments they have demonstrated," said Jim Ryan, Chair, OpenFabrics Alliance.
