BOSTON -- Onaro, Inc. finished 2006 by reaching key milestones in the companys development as a leader in storage management software. Profitable revenue growth, new customers, expanded distribution, new products and a growing list of industry awards highlighted the year. For 2006, Onaro:

  • Achieved 4x annual revenue growth with profitability for each quarter of the year.

  • Doubled the number of customers with competitive wins in many of the storage hardware vendors’ premiere accounts. Onaro now has global deployments in the top companies in retail, technology, wireless, financial services, entertainment, aerospace, health care and insurance.

  • Expanded world wide sales distribution with a reseller agreement with Hitachi Data Systems.

  • Built out the product line with the launch of Replication Assurance, Performance Insight and the ServiceConnect API program.

  • Received significant industry, analyst, media and customer praise, which includes ranking as a Byte & Switch Top 10 Private Company, a NetworkWorld One of Six Storage Startup Companies to Watch, and a 'Visionary' in Gartner’s ‘Magic Quadrant for Combined Storage Resource Management and SAN Management Software', December 2005. Won product excellence recognitions, including the eWeek Excellence Award, an Infostor MVP Finalist Award, and a Network Storage Conference Finalist Award.
