SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP), a leader in advanced network storage solutions, honored the winners of the 2006 NetApp Innovation Awards at an awards ceremony last week at the Clos LaChance winery at CordeValle Resort in San Martin, Calif. The NetApp Innovation Awards recognize customers who have implemented NetApp solutions in an innovative way to positively impact their business.

Over 130 nominees competed for awards in the following six categories: Innovator of the Year, Enterprise Business Applications, Enterprise Infrastructure, Individual, Humanitarian, and Small and Medium-Sized Business (SMB). One winner and two finalists were selected in each category by a third-party panel of judges that consisted of distinguished business and technology experts from the media and business communities.
