MTI Technology and HTC announced 'HTC E2IT Remote Recovery Services,' a technology solution to support a new remote data recovery service

IRVINE, Calif. -- MTI Technology Corporation (Nasdaq: MTIC - News), a multi-national provider of consulting services and comprehensive information infrastructure solutions, and Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC), the nation's largest telephone cooperative, jointly announced today "HTC E2IT Remote Recovery Services," a technology solution to support a new remote data recovery service.

MTI implemented this new backup and recovery service for HTC to help its small to medium business (SMB) customers protect and restore vital data in the event of a disaster. HTC E2IT is the umbrella under which HTC will offer a comprehensive menu of managed services, including Remote Recovery Services, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) design, firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN) security, and intrusion detection services.
