CAMPBELL, Calif. -- ONStor, Inc., the leading provider of clustered NAS solutions for primary and value-tier storage for enterprises and content-rich organizations, today announced that it has sold 1000 of its Bobcat NAS gateways worldwide. The landmark sale of the 1000th Bobcat was made to MeziMedia, a leading online publisher of search, shopping, and content websites in 10 of the largest e-commerce markets in the world that operates properties including Smarter.com, CouponMountain.com, and MoreRebates.com. MeziMedia chose the ONStor Bobcat NAS gateway for its two data centers in the United States and China in order to keep up with the company's exponential increase in content in 2008. ONStor's open, clustered NAS solution provides the reliability, interoperability, and highly scalable architecture that MeziMedia's data centers require.

"Prior to ONStor, our storage solutions were fragmented and not keeping pace with the growth of our content," said Rick Parada, director of systems operations, MeziMedia. "Now with the ONStor file storage deployed, we can grow on the fly and don't have to buy capacity we don't need. We also like that ONStor is plug and play and easy to set up since we have IT staff spread out across multiple geographies."
