MILPITAS, Calif., May 20, 2009 - LSI Corporation today announced an OEM partnership with Terascala, Inc. to drive increased storage sales in the high-performance computing (HPC) market. Under the terms of the agreement, the LSI Engenio 7900 HPC storage system will be integrated with the Terascala DTS 4000 parallel file storage appliance.Announced today, the DTS 4000 is the industry's first large-scale parallel storage appliance designed expressly for high-performance computing environments. It combines Terascala's expertise in parallel file systems and storage appliance development with the leading mixed workload performance, reliability and scalability of the LSI Engenio 7900 HPC storage system. The solution is designed to deliver the highest levels of data integrity and application performance while bringing appliance simplicity to large-scale, high-performance, parallel storage systems.
