VIENNA, Va. -- Cloakware Inc., the worlds leading provider of products and services to protect digital assets, and Lamprey Networks, a leader in innovative integrated compliance and interoperability testing solutions, today announced they are working together to provide the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) with a content protection compliance tool. This tool will enable members to test their products, including devices such as media players and set-top boxes, to ensure compliance with the DLNA Link Protection Guidelines.

The tool, called Link Protection Test Tool (LPTT), is Lamprey Networks’ third contract for providing compliance test tools for the DLNA. Cloakware’s hardened Digital Rights Management (DRM) solutions serve to ensure that the LPTT meets the security requirements of the link protection license agreements, known as Robustness Rules, by ensuring they are not used as a vector for piracy.
