BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Plasmon (LSE:PLM), the trusted source in archiving systems, today announced Kazeon, a leading provider of enterprise information access solutions, has certified Plasmons UDO Archive Appliance with its Information Server family of products.

Plasmon’s UDO Archive Appliance has been fully tested and certified with Kazeon Information Server product line, specifically the IS1200 ECS and IS1200 FRM. The Kazeon IS1200-ECS and IS1200-FRM help customers discover, index and search documents stored throughout an enterprise and then automatically migrate the information to the Plasmon UDO Archive Appliance for long-term archival storage. By combining the Kazeon and Plasmon systems companies can ensure that archived data is secure and accessible, while saving thousands on acquisition, management, and operating costs.

“Plasmon and Kazeon are essential to Bartron’s Med-Seg™, an imaging modality system that enables healthcare professionals to see areas of medical images not previously visible to the human eye,” said Fitz Walker, president and CEO, Bartron Medical Imaging, Inc. “Using Kazeon’s IS1200-ECS with Plasmon’s Archive Appliance, we can automatically index and archive our data for its entire lifecycle. This combination acts as an insurance policy to make sure that we are meeting strict compliance requirements as well as internal policies for data retention and helps mitigate any business risk for us as well as for our customers.”
