SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Intransa, the global leader of scalable, network-centric IP storage solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with independent IT infrastructure consulting and services firm GlassHouse Technologies. As part of the agreement, Intransa customers throughout the United States and Canada can upgrade their StorSupport contract, the company's customer satisfaction program, to deliver even more protection and features.
Although our systems have proven to be extremely highly reliable in the field, some customers prefer the extra assurance that a trained technician on-site within four hours provides,” said Chris Harvey, Intransa vice president of customer satisfaction, under which the StorSupport program falls. “We’re thrilled to be partnered with GlassHouse. With GlassHouse’s stellar track record in the storage business it helps us to provide our customers with an elevated level of confidence.”
Through the agreement with GlassHouse, Intransa is now able to offer StorSupport Premium level to North American customers. All Intransa IP SAN storage systems come with a full one-year StorWarranty, which includes 24x7x365 telephone, web and email access to the Intransa Global Support Services (GSS) center, guaranteed two hour telephone response, all software upgrades and maintenance, next day parts delivery, web reporting and incident tracking. For both StorSupport Basic and Premium levels, multi-year contract options are also available.
“With StorSupport Premium, customers who run mission critical or business critical applications on their Intransa IP SAN storage can be sure they have the best possible uptime,” continued Harvey. “It includes guaranteed 30-minute response time on phone support, priority escalation of support issues, four-hour parts delivery and on-site assistance. At a very affordable price, we expect this offering to be very popular.”
