SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Focusing on thegrowing SAS technology trend, RAID storage expert Infortrend(r) todayintroduced two new subsystems in its SAS host product line: theEonStor(r) A24S-R2130 redundant controller and A24S-G2130 singlecontroller, 4U, 24-bay, SAS-to-SATA-II subsystems. These RAID arraysare the latest in business-class storage, enabling new applicationswhile boosting scalability and performance.

By connecting the A24S to Infortrend's S16S-J1000 SAS-to-SAS JBODs,organizations can easily and economically add terabytes of storageusing low-cost SATA drives. Built-in RAID5 and RAID6 support gives ITmanagers the assurance that all of their valuable data remainsprotected and available. For easier RAID configuration and managementthe A24S-R/G2130 comes with SANWatch(r), Infortrend's proprietarysoftware suite that provides customers with a friendlier RAIDmanagement interface and advanced data protection tools such assnapshot available as add-on features.
