But if you think this new, hybrid model somehow addresses a broader market, perhaps even the SMB (small-to-midsize business) market, think again. This service is designed to benefit those who are spending big bucks to overprovision resources. For those companies that aren't spending big money or throwing cycles at capacity planning, IBM's hybrid initiative will not provide enough efficiency to justify the cost.
