BEIJING, China and IRVINE, Calif. -- Huaqi Information Digital Technology Co., Ltd., a leading consumer electronics manufacturer in China, and Zetera Corporation, a developer of breakthrough network storage technology, today announced the launch of a new family of networked storage products targeted to China and to be sold under Huaqi's widely recognized brand, aigo.

The new aigo Network Storage King family will incorporate Zetera’s patented Z-SAN® storage networking technology and include 2-bay and 4-bay portable storage devices, offering capacities between 640 gigabytes (GB) and 2 terabytes (TB).

Over the past four years, aigo portable storage devices have dominated the Chinese market, garnering an impressive market share. “Because portable storage is our largest product segment, it is important for us to take full advantage of the most innovative technical advances in the storage market,” said Gao Zhe, general manager of Huaqi's storage department. “Incorporating Z-SAN technology into aigo storage products provides our customers with enhanced sharing, greater scalability, better performance and increased data protection compared to our current line of USB connected devices.”

Unlike other storage architectures, Z-SAN technology simultaneously optimizes the four fundamental factors that drive the success of a network storage system – scalability, performance, reliability and cost. It offers network storage that is simple enough to be configured and managed by non-technical users and cuts costs by eliminating expensive hardware.
