TAMPA, Fla. -- Peak 10, the largest independent data center operator and managed services company in the eastern United States, has added Gulfeagle Supply to its diverse and growing customer portfolio. The Tampa-based distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products will move its data center to Peak 10s world-class facility in Charlotte, N.C to reduce its vulnerability to unexpected downtime caused by hurricanes and tropical storms. The move will take advantage of Peak 10’s private network to improve the security, reliability and availability of Gulfeagle Supply’s technology infrastructure and systems.

“Whether it’s to protect critical data from hurricanes or cyber attacks, organizations of every size and industry are taking steps to secure their systems,” said Debra Curtiss, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Tampa. “Utilizing our OCx private network, Gulfeagle can house its data center in our Charlotte facility but manage these systems locally in Tampa with no adverse impact on its operations or network response time.”
