CHANTILLY, Va. -- Fortisphere, a leading provider of policy-based virtualization management software, today announced that it has joined the VMware Community Source program, a collaborative development initiative designed to accelerate the creation of a rich variety of products that integrate with VMware Infrastructure, the industry-leading datacenter virtualization and management suite.

The VMware Community Source program combines the best elements of open source and enterprise development, allowing partners to advance their level of functionality, enhance interoperability with VMware products and dramatically reduce the time to market virtualization solutions for their customers.
