FalconStor Signs Inspur OEM

BEIJING -- FalconStor Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: FALC), the market leader in disk-based data protection solutions, today announced that it has entered into an OEM agreement with Inspur Group, the largest server manufacturer and solution provider in China. Inspur will leverage the FalconStor VirtualTape Library (VTL) technology to deliver proven, comprehensive, high-performance VTL solutions with efficient data de-duplication.

Inspur has been a sales leader in the branded server market in China for over 11 years and has recognized the growing demand for VTL solutions with de-duplication. “As businesses expand and the amount of data multiplies, we see many customers struggling with shrinking backup windows and high operating costs.
