Emulex extends SAN connectivity for HP Integrity servers

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX - News) today announced that its PCI Express I/O Controller-based HBAs from HP are now supported for use with HP Integrity mid-range rx7640 and rx8640 servers and the high-end Integrity Superdome servers to provide Fibre Channel SAN connectivity.

The Emulex IOC 3532 provides HP's new PCI Express-based Integrity mid-range and Superdome servers with a wide range of SAN connectivity solutions with support for HP-UX 11i and OpenVMS operating environments. The HP-branded single channel HBAs (HP model # AD299A) and dual channel HBAs (HP model # AD355A), which are based on the Emulex IOC 3532, are now available.
