Emulex and Brocade team with IBM to deliver new IBM DS3400 Simple SAN Express Kits

COSTA MESA, Calif., Aug. 28, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX - News) and Brocade (Brocade(r)) (NasdaqGS:BRCD - News) today announced that the two companies' 4Gb/s storage area network (SAN) connectivity solutions and storage provisioning software have been incorporated into the new IBM(r) System Storage(tm) DS3400 Simple SAN Express Kits.

Emulex's EZPilot(tm) SAN installation and storage provisioning software, coupled with its LightPulse(r) 4Gb/s HBAs and the Brocade 210E switch have been integrated into the new IBM System Storage DS3400 Simple SAN Express Kits for simplified SAN deployment and management. This offering provides mid-sized businesses with an industry-leading SAN solution that is simple, powerful and affordable.
