ControlGuard Launches GateKeeper
ControlGuard launched a new endpoint security solution, Endpoint GateKeeper, to meet growing endpoint security needs

PHOENIX -- ControlGuard, a leading provider of endpoint security solutions, today at CSI NetSec 2006, launched a new endpoint security solution, Endpoint GateKeeper, to meet growing endpoint security needs as demand moves beyond large enterprises into the SMB market.
ControlGuard is partnering with Perception Digital, a manufacturer of portable hard storage and players, in an OEM agreement for Endpoint GateKeeper. Perception Digital’s line of portable hard drives will embed ControlGuard’s technology and carry the ‘Protected by ControlGuard’ seal. Perception Digital’s products are distributed through companies such as Samsung in the US, and Maxell in Europe and the Far East.

We chose to work with ControlGuard for this protection service because their endpoint security technology is the most reliable, manageable and easy to use.”
Perception Digital’s complete line of portable storage hard drives and media players are capable of storing any file types via high speed USB and also allow users to access up to 2500 personal music files/songs. The company has selected endpoint security technology from ControlGuard to help customers manage the secure use of removable media. With ControlGuard Endpoint GateKeeper, Perception Digital’s users will be able to control and selectively authorize which storage devices can be accessed.
ControlGuard’s current portfolio of endpoint security solutions is deployed in major enterprises including international financial organizations, service providers, insurance companies and security agencies. ControlGuard has an existing OEM agreement with msystems, delivering a management platform for a comprehensive secure flash memory drive for the enterprise. The Endpoint GateKeeper broadens ControlGuard’s portfolio and addresses a growing security concerns in the Small to Medium Sized Business (SMB) market.
