AUSTIN, Texas -- Caringo Inc., a leading provider of content storage software that enables a new paradigm in single tier ILM solutions, today announced the signing of a comprehensive reseller agreement with leading data management expert Databasement. The relationship continues to demonstrate Caringos acceptance and increasing traction in the European marketplace. This new agreement provides Caringo with further expansion throughout Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.

“In enterprise computing environments today there is an overwhelming need for managing, storing and archiving data in a way that offers the greatest simplicity, scalability and performance,” said Rob Christ, director and founder of Databasement. “With Caringo’s CAStor, we can now offer these applications and more by protecting both active and archive content through a CAS solution that meets both compliance regulations and the needs of a company’s information lifecycle.”

Christ said that one of the most compelling aspects to the CAStor solution is its ability to work on any hardware platform, which makes it an ideal solution for installations looking to leverage existing hardware purchases or for organizations wishing to develop a unique and comprehensive storage architecture.

“Customers throughout Europe have been early – and eager – adopters of our CAStor software and created an increasing demand for storage infrastructures that make archiving more flexible and more efficient,” said Mark Goros, Caringo CEO. “Because of this success, we have turned to a leading system integrator, Databasement, to deploy our unique solution into computing environments throughout the European Union to better provide organizations with the best method of storing mission-critical data across a single-tier storage environment that eliminates the need to separate active and archive content.”
