The blade server movement is officially under way. Thirty percent of enterprises say they have deployed blade servers, and another 12 percent are planning deployments this year, according to a poll conducted by InformationWeek Research and Microcast Communications. The top perceived benefit of the new devices, cited by 66 percent of respondents, is greater processing power in the same physical space.
