ATLANTA -- BroadRiver, Inc., a leading data center operator and managed services provider of hosted IP voice, data and Internet solutions, today announced plans that it is building out a 3rd secure, managed data center in Atlanta, Georgia to support the companys rapid growth in the Southeast. Since operating at near full capacity in its two existing managed data facilities, the new 15,000 square foot data center will increase BroadRiver’s capacity for colocation and managed voice, and hosted data services by over 400%. The company expects the new facility to be 100% complete by the end of the first quarter of this year.

“Our business in serving all commercial businesses in Georgia continues its consistent growth as more and more organizations look to outsource the management of complex information technology environments,” said Gregory P. McGraw, President & Chief Executive Officer of BroadRiver, Inc. “This expansion project confirms our long-term commitment to the Georgia business community and ensures our ability to provide customers throughout the Southeast with proven solutions for maintaining around the clock availability, security and integrity of their critical data and business applications.”

BroadRiver is building its third data center in Atlanta to meet current and future demand for infrastructure hosting, disaster recovery and high-end managed services. All BroadRiver data centers are engineered with multiple levels of security, uninterruptible and redundant power, redundant HVAC systems, gas based fire suppression, 24/7 monitoring and management. Each facility is interconnected on BroadRiver’s fiber-based, private IP network enabling the company to meet its high availability objective and ensure business continuity for its customers’ business critical applications.

“Acquiring and building out this facility in Atlanta is a great example of BroadRiver’s local market leadership and consistent growth, and further reflects our philosophy and history of investing in the markets we serve to enhance our capabilities with next generation infrastructure,” said McGraw. “Complimenting our support of local customers, we have seen a dramatic increase in Florida and Mississippi based businesses with critical applications, who are seeking redundant facilities outside of their location. Consistent with our growth strategy, we will continue to aggressively pursue expansion opportunities locally and through acquisitions regionally.”
