Cincinnati Bell enters data center and managed services agreement with The Kroger Co.

CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) today announced that it has reached an agreement with The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) to supply managed data center services to the retailer through CBTS, a wholly owned division of Cincinnati Bell.

CBTS is a business technology solutions provider, offering solutions around a wide range of information technology (IT) and telephone services, managed infrastructure services, data center services, and IT staff augmentation services.

As companies strive to efficiently manage increasing amounts of data, Cincinnati Bell and CBTS offer end-to-end solutions that encompass telephone, managed infrastructure, data center, and professional IT services,” said John Burns, vice president and general manager of CBTS. “Our latest agreement with Kroger further develops a long-time partnership, which previously included wireline and wireless services, and now expands to data center and related services.”
