CAMPBELL, Calif. -- APTARE, Inc., a leading provider of Web 2.0 storage reporting and management software, and FusionStorm, a San Francisco-based technology solutions provider, today announced that they have extended their reseller alliance partnership. FusionStorm, one of APTARE's marquee reseller partners, will now offer APTARE StorageConsole® 6.5 as a hosted managed service offering to its customers, helping them accurately track storage capacity utilization, predict future needs and reduce costs. FusionStorm will offer StorageConsole 6.5 as an integral part of the company's managed storage and backup services.

"Our customers have seen the quantifiable value that APTARE StorageConsole backup reporting provides to their enterprise storage environments and the streamlined implementation that APTARE's Web 2.0 architecture enables," said Vince Conroy, chief technology officer, FusionStorm. "To now offer APTARE's capacity management functionality in the same centralized, robust reporting environment means that our customers can have end-to-end storage capacity reporting -- from the application and hosts to the storage arrays. This allows us to provide our customers with a new level of visibility that gives peace of mind on their storage utilization, without them having to worry about the hassles of managing the day-to-day storage operations."

APTARE designed its Alliance Reseller Program to give resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) the tools and solutions that they need to create an annuity-based revenue stream and a customized user experience. APTARE's solutions are enterprise-scalable and the program is customized to align with each reseller's business goals. With its patented Web 2.0-based architecture, APTARE is able to have resellers and managed service providers host a storage reporting and management Web portal for their customers in a matter of hours, as opposed to days.

"We recognize the growing trend that resellers need differentiated, value-add services that support their own customers' business objectives while at the same time make it efficient and cost-effective to deploy new storage service offerings," said Richard Clark, president and CEO, APTARE. "We're pleased to extend our partnership with a leading national managed services provider like FusionStorm and help them take storage management services to the next level for their customers."
