Apple isn't pushing for the leaker to do jail time, though the company would be within its rights to do so. Steigerwald made a huge error, and he'll pay for it: Employers don't look favorably on NDA breakers, and this one may have a tough time getting a job in the immediate future. But he's lucky that Apple will not add criminal charges to his résumé.
