While I am on vacation and taking a break from doing stuff around the house, I see this post Petabytes on a budget: How to build cheap cloud storage by Tim Nufire at BackBlaze and I just had to share.

Nufire provides detailed steps in building storage pods complete with a parts list and specs for wiring harnesses. The 4U pod holds 67 Terabytes. The over all cost, according to Nufire, works out to 3 tenths of penny over three years. What a fun read.
