SAN FRANCISCO -- Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced the availability of the Wyse V10L, here at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2007. The Wyse V10L delivers excellent performance, ease of use and expansion capabilities on a thin computer, while enabling users to leverage any application or desktop virtualization environment.

What makes the Wyse V10L unique is its performance and simplicity. It comes with standard built-in support for Citrix(R) Presentation Server andMicrosoft(R) Terminal Services, as well as desktop virtualization capabilities for Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware(R) products. The Wyse V10L also supports leading OS and application streaming technologies, providing users with flexible deployment options for delivering applications.

"The Wyse V10L is designed and tailored to easily enable virtualization, whether it's based on presentation, application, or desktop methods," said Tarkan Maner, President and CEO of Wyse Technology. "It sets a new standard for what's possible on a thin computer because of the tight integration with our Wyse Thin OS, the fastest and thinnest operating system for thin computing, also provided by Wyse. The end result for customers is a richer, more fulfilling 'PC' experience without compromise, on a flexible thin computer at a fraction of the price."

Powered by the new VIA Eden C7 processor, the V10L utilizes the latest and most powerful version of Wyse Thin OS (WTOS), which at around 1MB in size is among the fastest, easiest to manage and most secure thin-client operating systems.

"Wyse has always been a leader and innovator in thin computing and the V10L is no exception," said Chris Fleck, Vice President of Platform Development for Citrix. "The Wyse V10L integrates with our Application Delivery Infrastructure allowing customers to leverage their existing IT assets while taking full advantage of the cost, security and manageability benefits associated with thin computing."Wyse Technology
