Victrex Locks Down Data

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Kazeon Systems, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent eDiscovery solutions, today announced that Victrex PLC, an innovative leading manufacturer of high performance materials, has chosen Kazeon's Information Server product to provide information security, risk assessment and eDiscovery capabilities.

As one of the top companies in the high performance materials market, Victrex strives to develop new applications through product and technology innovation. Victrex takes proactive measures to secure information and prevent intellectual property from leaving the organization. The Kazeon Information Server platform scans tens of TBs of data held in Victrex's global network of regional data centers and on more than 500 desktops and laptops.

Through Kazeon, Victrex can quickly identify business critical and sensitive data and take corrective measures to secure that data by analyzing for trends and moving, locking, deleting or quarantining data for further review. The Kazeon Information Server discovers sensitive information contained in emails and files regardless of their physical or logical location. It also indexes & classifies email and file metadata while providing a comprehensive set of rules that extract common, confidential patterns. In addition, key words and phrases contained in a document (e.g. "company confidential," "financial statement") can be accurately identified and assigned a risk ranking while enabling policies to prevent data loss.

"Victrex's market is getting more competitive everyday and our intellectual property and business intelligence have to be protected. Kazeon allows us to search and identify which documents require the highest levels of security and then act on them anywhere across our enterprise," said John Cafferty, Global ICT Manager at Victrex. "The security and risk assessment, coupled with the ability to build out a comprehensive eDiscovery process, has made Kazeon an extremely valuable tool. We also leverage the de-duplication capabilities of the product to identify and remove unnecessary copies located across multiple locations while ensuring the integrity of master copies of key documents. This gives us the added benefit of reduced storage requirements and associated costs."
