The Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has selected and deployed Riverbed's Steelhead WDS appliances

SAN FRANCISCO -- Riverbed Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:RVBD - News), the performance leader in wide area data services, announced today that the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, LTD. (TMB) has selected and deployed Riverbed's Steelhead wide-area data services (WDS) appliances to ensure that its critical banking transaction data is not lost should a disaster occur. TMB has deployed the Steelhead appliances in the company's Chennai data center and in its Bangalore disaster recovery center.
