SST Declares CFO Resignation

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- SST (Silicon Storage Technology, Inc.), (NASDAQ:SSTI), a leader in flash memory technology, today announced that Arthur O. Whipple, vice president of finance, CFO and secretary, submitted his resignation on January 4, 2007. Whipple is expected to remain at the company until February and will assist in the release of the company's financial results for the year ended December 31,2006 scheduled for January 24, 2007. The company has started the search for Mr. Whipple's replacement and expects to name an acting CFO shortly.
