SNIA Europe Announces New Board
The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Europe announced its new Board of Directors

LONDON -- The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Europe today announced its new Board of Directors. Effective immediately, these eleven representatives of the association, all from member companies, will work together to ensure SNIA Europe delivers on its mission to promote the acceptance, deployment and confidence in open storagerelated architectures, systems, services and technologies, across the IT and business community. In addition, each director of the board will be responsible for a different aspect of the running of the association and its initiatives.
Below is the current Board of Directors as it now stands until October 2009:
Juergen Arnold – Chairman, HP, Germany
Malte Rademacher – Vice Chairman, EMC, Germany
Matthias Werner – Secretary and Events Committee Co-chair, IBM, Switzerland
Bob Plumridge – Treasurer and Membership Committee Chair, Hitachi Data Systems, UK
Frank Bunn – Director and Storage Management Initiative Chair, Symantec, Germany
Aad Dekkers – Director and IP Storage Initiative Chair, NetApp, The Netherlands
Walter Dey – Director, Liaison to Education Committee and Events Committee Co-chair, Cisco Systems, Switzerland
Jean-Jacques Effosse – Director, 3PAR, UK
Kay Mushens – Director and Marketing Committee Chair, LSI, UK
Philippe Nicolas – Director and Data Management Initiative Interim Chair, Brocade, France
Alan Wallman – Director and Strategic Alliances Committee Chair, Emulex, UK
