ServerCentral Adds Data Center

CHICAGO -- ServerCentral, Chicagos leader in managed data center solutions, is expanding its area operations by adding a high power density data center in suburban Elk Grove Village, IL. The brand new facility is operated by DuPont Fabros Technology, a leading owner, developer, operator and manager of wholesale data centers. ServerCentral holds a long-term lease for 10,000 square feet of raised floor space, with the option to quickly expand into additional space as needed.

With the addition of this Tier III+ data center to its Chicago footprint, ServerCentral provides customers substantial expansion capacity for high-density installations in cabinets and private cages, plus reliable and redundant connections to its global backbone network. Key features of the colocation space include a power density of over 200 watts per square foot with isolated and redundant electrical bus feeds, N+2 redundancy on all critical systems, and low-latency peering, transit and metro area transport.
