British law enforcement authorities early Thursday arrested Neil Entwistle in the murders of his wife and daughter in Massachusetts. Entwistle had advertised get-rich schemes and porn support services over the Internet.

Shortly after the murdered bodies of his wife Rachel and daughter Lillian Rose were found in the Entwistle home in suburban Boston, Entwistle showed up at the home of his parents in his native England.

Entwistle, an engineer, used Web sites including eBay to post offerings. He received a large number of negative feedback postings on eBay. Law enforcement officials in Massachusetts said eBay cooperated in the investigation of Entwistle.

The Boston Herald had reported that the Entwistle account on eBay had been frozen by the online auction firm just days before the murders occurred.

Entwistle was arrested on two counts of murder as well as one count of illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition, according to wire service reports.
