Iron Mountain Redefines Hosted eDiscovery With Free Early Stage Filtering And Powerful Low-Cost Review

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Iron Mountain Inc, the information management company, today announced the release of Stratify Legal Discovery OnPoint, a new hosted eDiscovery offering that simplifies eDiscovery while reducing costs by delivering free processing and loading of unlimited data for early stage filtering to drive high-productivity review. Hands-on control of data from the start of a matter coupled with advanced analytics and filtering technologies will enable attorneys to leapfrog linear review methodologies while establishing a defensible process for selecting responsive data. A one-time fee starting at $500 per gigabyte pertains only to reviewable data.

"With this offering, Iron Mountain is disrupting cloud-based eDiscovery by removing the price barrier to early stage filtering regardless of data volumes, extending its flexible, easy to use review capabilities, and providing clients with one-stop-shop accountability," said Vivian Tero, program manager, Governance, Risk, & Compliance Infrastructure, IDC. "Iron Mountain is making a compelling case for simple, cloud-based eDiscovery that enables corporate counsel and their outside counsel to aggressively reduce costs without sacrificing any of the advanced capabilities or service levels that are required for successful eDiscovery."

Free and unlimited early stage filtering of ever-increasing data volumes and low-cost review provide attorneys the flexibility and control they need to manage their matters efficiently, increase review productivity and accuracy, and satisfy increasing regulatory and judicial expectations within tight timeframes. Stratify Legal Discovery OnPoint's analytical techniques, including enterprise-grade search, metadata-based faceted search, automatic concept organization, and random sampling technologies contribute to a defensible process for selecting responsive data. Throughout the duration of each matter, attorneys can return to the full volume of restored, unfiltered data to identify additional documents to be included in the review interface.

"As the eDiscovery market has rapidly evolved, we've been asking our clients how the next generation of Stratify Legal Discovery could best meet their needs," said Ramana Venkata, president, Iron Mountain Digital. "By leveraging Iron Mountain's investment in advanced eDiscovery technologies, a global client services organization, and highly scalable cloud datacenters, the new paradigm we are introducing with Stratify Legal Discovery OnPoint achieves our clients' key objectives: simple eDiscovery with intelligent technologies to aggressively reduce costs."

The intuitive interface of Iron Mountain's Stratify Legal Discovery OnPoint provides clients with an advanced set of eDiscovery analytics to increase review productivity. Clients can also choose to supplement their review with advanced capabilities to support complex languages and/or multi-party/review team and automated workflows based on the requirements of the matter.
