FarStone Launches Suite

IRVINE, Calif. -- FarStone Technology announced today at the Data Protection Summit, a new suite of data recovery solutions designed to address the critical needs of small and medium businesses. Called DriveClone, the suite includes versions for work stations, servers, networks and a new solution for system builders.

The new family of DriveClone products includes FarStones widely adopted RestoreIT® technology for disaster recovery, along with world class disc-based imaging. The software can perform complete and incremental backups from within Windows, without the need to reboot the system and offers a new snapshot feature, which allows users to have incremental snapshots taken at the sector-level of the hard drive, either at startup or at user defined, scheduled intervals.

Over time, Farstone has seen the adoption of their technology by noted industry leaders and is a preferred technology supplier for leading companies including Intel, Trend Micro, AOL, Seagate and Phoenix Technologies, among others. Their recovery technology has endured rigorous testing in order to qualify to be embedded as a key component of widely distributed solutions.
