Cisco Adds to Nexus Data Center Portfolio

Cisco is introducing the Cisco Nexus 7018, Cisco Nexus 5010, and Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders, adding to the Nexus Family of switches specifically designed for the stringent requirements of next-generation data centers. With the Nexus platform IT organizations can take advantage of a unified fabric and optimize for architectural changes such as virtualization, Web 2.0 applications, and cloud computing. Cisco technology reduces the barriers to integrated data center virtualization by delivering greater network awareness and transparency to virtualization.
