Chelsio Deals Data Domain

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Chelsio Communications, Inc., the leading provider of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) adapters and ASIC solutions, today announced its 10GbE Unified Wire adapters have been selected by Data Domain as the high performance Ethernet interconnect option for its recently introduced DD690, the industrys highest performance inline deduplication storage system for backup and other nearline storage applications.

Data Domain is the leading provider of deduplication storage systems. Chelsio’s family of S310 10GbE Storage Accelerators, the industry’s highest performance 10GbE adapter, is fully qualified and available today from Data Domain.
