WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. -- CaminoSoft Corp. (OTCBB:CMSF), a leading provider of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions for Microsoft Windows 2000/2003, Novell NetWare and NetApp Filer environments, today announced that its Managed Server HSM software supports Apple Macintosh (Mac) environments.

Working in conjunction with Group Logic’s ExtremeZ-IP File Server software, which adds Mac client file sharing (AppleShareIP) to Windows servers, CaminoSoft’s Managed Server HSM for Windows provides new policy-based, automated storage management and file archiving capabilities for popular Mac/Windows computing environments. CaminoSoft’s initial solutions have been deployed in EMC Centera-based environments.

Richard Krueger, vice president of marketing and alliances at CaminoSoft, said, “Mac desktops are heavily utilized in education, creative print media and research laboratory settings. Using Managed Server HSM software, now these organizations can readily set up policies to reclaim production storage resources for active file usage while transparently migrating inactive Macintosh files to their archival storage platform. We are pleased to be working closely with Group Logic and are encouraged by the enthusiastic customer responses to our Mac/Windows file archiving solution for EMC Centera.”
