ATLANTA -- American Megatrends announces the release of its StorTrends iTX 2.6 software for operation with the StorTrends 1100i (1u) and 3100i (3u) storage appliances.
Advancements in data storage technology have given AMI a direct pathway to development of data management software that takes advantage of all available existing storage equipment and allows growing the data storage array as companies grow larger, with higher levels of data storage need.
AMI has today released software that will provide similar data storage options to small and medium size businesses that have been reserved for the largest corporations,” said S.Shankar, AMI’s founder and CEO. “Enhancements in StorTrends iTX 2.6 make set-up and operation a simple process. Users can start at any number of storage boxes and grow their storage capacity in line with their company growth.”

StorTrends iTX 2.6 is the controlling software that replaces version 2.5, that is bundled with AMI’s StorTrends 1100i and 3100i storage appliances. These are designed to have additional storage units added at any time the user may require more capacity. StorTrends iTX 2.6 can address the increased storage capacity with simple menu based questions.
