Adaptec Touts Unified Serial HBAs

Adaptec introduces new Unified Serial host bus adapters offering massive scalability for a wide range of storage environments

MILPITAS, Calif. -- Adaptec, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADPT), a global leader in storage solutions, today unveiled the Adaptec Series 1 Unified Serial Host Bus Adapter (HBA) family featuring two low-profile cards that deliver the industry’s most scalable data storage connectivity solution, supporting up to 128 SATA or SAS storage devices, at an entry-level price point.
