3PAR joins Oracle Unbreakable Linux Support program

FREMONT, Calif. -- 3PAR (NYSE Arca: PAR), the leading global provider of utility storage, announced qualification of Oracle® Enterprise Linux (OEL) for deployment with 3PAR Utility Storage under the Oracle Unbreakable Linux Support program, which delivers enterprise-class support for Linux while also helping to lower costs. 3PAR Utility Storage is designed to simplify storage management and reduce total cost of data while giving enterprises the agility to respond instantly to changing business demands. 3PAR and Oracle have teamed to enable simplified management, consolidated support, and cost savings to customers from the storage infrastructure up to the application environment.
3PAR’s participation in the Oracle Unbreakable Linux program helps ensure easy, rapid, and low-cost deployment of OEL with the 3PAR Utility Storage platform. 3PAR and Oracle customers can now deploy OEL with 3PAR InServ® Storage Servers with confidence that this combination has been fully qualified to work together.
