BEIJING, China and BILLERICA, Mass. -- Voltaire, the worldwide leader in grid backbone solutions, today announced that it has opened a new office in Beijing, China. The office will focus on the sales and marketing of Voltaire solutions which serve as the high performance backbone” for clusters and grids. Enterprises, governmental organizations and research institutions around the globe rely on Voltaire’s switching solutions and network virtualization software.

Voltaire has been selling solutions throughout Asia for more than two years and has experienced a dramatic increase in demand from research/academia and commercial businesses in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. The company’s customers and partners in China include Beijing University, Shanghai University and many others.
