QLogic announces SANbox 9000 series core switches available on Sun Microsystems leading storage solutions

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- QLogic Corp. (NasdaqGS:QLGC - News), the leader in Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs), stackable switches and blade server switches, today announced that its enterprise class SANbox(r) 9000 Series Fibre Channel core switches are now available on Sun's leading line of Storage products. The SANbox 9000 Series is a new class of core switch that takes less rack space, power and cooling than any director switch available today, all at a fraction of the cost.
