BEA Targets Event-Driven SOA: Page 2 of 2

Underlying the WebLogic Event Server is BEA's microService Architecture, announced last fall. That architecture enables BEA to offer the event server as a lightweight application server, rather than as a standalone CEP (complex event processing) engine, making it easier to drop it into existing SOA environments, BEA says.

The WebLogic Event Server combines with BEA WebLogic Real Time and BEA WebLogic Virtual Edition to create a full-scale EDA/SOA platform, BEA says.
