Not So Good 2B Google

As if it weren't enough that Microsoft is gunning for Google with Live Search, now a self-proclaimed ethics watchdog group has the company in its sights for -- get this -- hosting copyrighted movies on Google Video. We're shocked! shocked! to find out Knocked Up is available.
The National Legal and Policy Center blasted Google for hosting, it says, more than 60 current movies. The group has asked Congress to examine the copyright violations. Not, presumably, by watching Shrek the Third.

The release stated that since the NLPC first found out about the current flicks available, it has gone back for spot checks and found way more new movies.

The NLPC also objected to the GM/UAW deal and takes Wal-Mart to task for asking suppliers about their CO2 emissions to help combat the "unproven global warming threat."
