By the time the plug-fests and hardware compatibility list updates are completed for 16Gbps FC products next spring, most of the target customers for 16Gbps FC will have already evaluated FCoE. As for 32Gbps FC, I think that Ethernet's head start with 40 and 100Gbps specs complete and products shipping will put a world of hurt on the Fibre Channel plans. By the time 32Gbps FC is available in 2013 or 2014, the enterprise players that would want it will be moving down the FCoE roadmap.
