Clouds And Claims Seem To Go Hand-in-Hand: Page 2 of 2

I wonder what's next...maybe a "Cloud Disk Drive" that's optimized to store corporate data in virtual clouds as opposed to physical data centers?  I can see the slideware now:  big, puffy, white disk drives storing yottabytes of data.

On the other hand, there is the recent release from IBM of their Smart Business and CloudBurst Solutions - delivering technologies, products, and services for behind the firewall, or in the cloud, turn-key requirements and infrastructure build-out.  IBM's laying on of the cloud terminology all over these solutions and services makes sense; like ketchup on a hamburger - it fits.

We are aware of quite a number of companies that are wrestling with adopting the cloud concept for their datacenters and remote offices, or are promoting themselves as cloud providers.  Which are you?  We would love to hear from you and understand where your current struggles are, or where you current success reside.
